This headset is most likely the greatest value for $20 if you happen to be just wanting to voice-chat with other players on-line. It is Very responsive and really clear on default settings. I recommend you lower the output volume via PS3 "Manage Audio Devices" settings (somewhere on the XMB screen). If you don't, other players will hear you breathing, hear your household members/close friends talking, and/or hear the sounds of gameplay coming from your Television/controller.
It charges quite quickly. The device manual suggested at least an eight-hr charge ahead of its very first use if not an overnight charge, but it should have been pre-charged just before shipping simply because it took less than two hours for it to entirely charge with the PS3.
To charge, just connect the USB cord to the PS3 and the other finish to the headset. It will continue to flash a red light till it is totally charged.

I began panicking when I opened the contents and discovered that there was no wall charger, since even the manual stated that the contents would involve the charger...but it need to not have been updated because the only "charger" it comes with is the USB cord. i purchased this headset since in ear ones hurt your ear and fall out alot.when i got this headset (it shipped a day early) it took a when to figure how to connect it (see instruction manual).when i got it connected i was able to use it for my telephone and my ps3.this headset delivers amazing hearing and speaking top quality.if anyone desires a microphone for ps3 or their telephone (or both) this is the headset for you!
