It has a power on/off button, a vol+ and vol-, and a MUTE button. All are instinctively positioned. It can be worn on the left or correct ear through a swivel clip frequent on most bluetooth headsets today.

You plug in the headset through the smaller usb cable to the playstation3 and it automatically syncs it with your ps3. I have heard that you need to delete any other bluetooth headsets in order to do this but that was not my expertise. Wait till you see the red ring flash twice and your done.
